I lived there in the 1960´s and back then the hill was an old pioneer cemetery. The memorial stones were dated around the early 1800´s, with many infant graves. Name with months lived There was an old house that must have burned down, with a brick-lined well. There were still some old White Pines, left over from the logging days. I hope they still remain. Back then we tried to maintain the gravestones from being pushed over, as they seemed to be very important to the original settlers. Please let me know, if you have the time, to tell me what has been preserved.
